When characters create a longer story arc than I first imagined, what can I do but oblige them?
As I make my third editing pass through The Casebook of Elisha Grey IV. polishing the overall notes for Casebook V, I'm also outlining volumes VI and VII in the series (which will have a change of title...but I'm not going to spoil it for you!)
So blogging has taken a second seat at the writer's table, since I anticipate that Casebook IV may be uploaded to smashwords.com by the first week of September (September?)
They keep me busy, these characters. Also, I'm still having to go through my mourning process for one of them. When you read Casebook IV you'll understand why.
Haven't read any of the series yet? Start at the beginning. Still plenty of time for summer reading; each volume of three novelettes is in total just under the length of a standard novel -- perfect for traveling, vacationing, mixing in with other summer activities. Or, relaxing after a day at work.
And maybe, as you read, you'll wonder why Atlantis seems so familiar to you...

PS: this locale is where Kamay Pellay, the Weatherchanger (Casebook II), went to study shamanism (Casebook III).
