The Casebook of Elisha Grey follows the adventures of an Atlantean scholar and consulting detective during the period between two Civil Wars on the Continent of Atlantis -- the most advanced civilization on Earth at the time -- as chronicled by his colleague Kiara Ptolmai, a first year jurisprudence student at the Temple of Atlantis in the capitol of Atlantis. The themes in the stories may seem familiar....but then....history does repeat itself, and as another great consulting detective said (his name was Sherlock Holmes) "there is nothing new under the sun."
Except, of course, experiencing life in Atlantis while reading these novelettes.
The Casebook of Elisha Grey was published Sep 2013, revised version published July 2016 through smashwords.com (adult content) and is available on a number of ebook readers including Barnes & Noble's Nook and Kobo. The entire series is also available through Amazon.com for Kindle readers. A free sample of the text can be read by going to smashwords.com or to Amazon.com. There are a total of eight e-books in the series, each with three novelettes each. While mystery and crime are the basis of the series, character development -- including relying upon strong women characters -- is key to the stories.
The Casebook of Elisha Grey story bible has been registered with Writers Guild of America, West, Inc., registration # 1825921 effective from 2/19/16 to 2/19/21.
Three novelettes per volume for $2.99? A reasonable getaway to another time and place...and into mysteries!
